DICTIONARY OF GLASS MARKS INDEX

IMPORTANT NOTICE
This free resource
will no longer be available after 4-1-2009,
due to the economic slump and the recent lack of donations
that have kept the site up and running for the the past 13 years.
It has been my
genuine pleasure to be able to help solve
your glass marks "mysteries".
Thanks to all who
have supported the Dictionary of Glass Marks.

If you have donated thank you.

Here's how to ID your glass mark:
Every mark in this
dictionary is a viewable image.
Determine the
shape of your mark. Is it a circle, a square, perhaps it's a person?
Look at the shapes
below. Which of these looks most like your mark, or best
describes your mark? Click on that shape.
When the page is
returned to you, you will again find the mark that most closely resembles yours. Click on
that mark to see a larger detailed view. Certain marks will appear in more than one
category. For example: A star within a circle will appear in both the 'Circles &
Crescents' category as well as the 'Stars' category because it meets the
criteria of both shapes...a circle and a star.
PLEASE
NOTE: Some of the categories are very graphic intensive, and may take some time to load (1
to 2 minutes in some cases with a dialup connection). For your
information, the number of graphics per page is noted in
red
